The main symptom is swelling in an arm or leg, or face and neck area, that may be accompanied by pain or discomfort. Exercise, wrapping, massage, and compression can help.
Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI)
Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) is a condition that occurs when the venous wall and/or valves in the leg veins are not working effectively, causing blood to “pool” or collect in these veins. Early stage CVI can appear as swelling in lower legs and new spider veins. Untreated, severe CVI can become a more serious condition known as Phlebolymphedema. Our clinic works with your doctors to provide effective treatments and management techniques to improve circulation through the lower extremities and reduce the symptoms of CVI and Phlebolymphedema.

A common cause of Peripheral Neuropathy is diabetes, but it can also result from injuries, infections, and exposure to toxins and chemotherapy agents. Symptoms include pain, a pins-and-needles sensation, numbness, and weakness.
Here at Activecare we use a a unique, patented therapy proven to help heal the nerves and effectively treat the symptoms of this painful and debilitating condition.
Thermography of the Breast and Body
Thermography utilizes an infrared camera to image the heat output of the body. This allows us to visualize unusual tissue metabolic activity and areas of inflammation which often indicate hidden disease processes. Thermography is an FDA approved medical imaging technology and has been approved as an adjunctive breast cancer risk assessment tool.
