Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI)

Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) is a condition that occurs when the venous wall and/or valves in the leg veins are not working effectively, causing blood to “pool” or collect in these veins. Early stage CVI can appear as swelling in lower legs and new spider veins. Untreated, severe CVI can become a more serious condition known as Phlebolymphedema. Our clinic works with your doctors to provide effective treatments and management techniques to improve circulation through the lower extremities and reduce the symptoms of CVI and Phlebolymphedema.
